This echoes how Ray Dalio used to talk about members of the firm having trust quotients for various types of decisions.

So not just overall TQ, but task specific TQ. I wonder if that will be the case here as well?

Thanks, such an interesting subject Kevin. I've never thought about this before in the context of AI agents. So clearly written and explained.

A visionary and provocative analysis of the future of trust in the AI ecosystem. The Trust Quotient (TQ) is not just a technical metric but a strategic pillar that will redefine how we interact with artificial intelligence. As we delegate critical decisions to autonomous agents, the ability to measure and ensure their reliability will be more important than their raw intelligence. This is a zero-sum game: either we build robust trust systems capable of withstanding fraud and opacity, or we risk a collapse of accountability. The real challenge? Not just developing competent AI, but agents that take responsibility for their errors, like an exceptional human would. This isn’t merely a technical issue but a philosophical one: trust will be the currency of the future, and those who master it will dominate the AI era. A bold insight that forces us to think big!

A very interesting post. The legal/liability aspects of this New Brave World will be extremely complex.
