A very thoughtful post—I truly enjoyed it. KK never ceases to surprise us with creativity and fresh perspectives. I completely agree with the ideas expressed here, and I find the Periodic Table concept to be a stroke of genius.

One major hurdle in advancing AI is the persistent belief that it will never attain so-called “human-exclusive” traits like consciousness or creativity. But I believe it can—and we should stop pretending otherwise. That belief is often rooted in a fear of losing the sense of “human superiority” we’ve grown attached to.

This post reinforces a powerful idea: to create artificial features that mirror natural ones, we must not necessarily study and replicate the originals. Just as airplanes don’t flap their wings like birds, they still achieve flight by understanding and adapting the principles of nature.
