'The New York Times' would be the top of my list, and I suspect at the top of many others lists, too.

I always think owning pets will seem barbaric in the future (I say this as a dog owner) - as well as sending kids to "school" for their entire childhoods. Less cringe, more criminal!

I could believe banning zoos might happen.

Surprised it hasn't already, to be honest

Came in the comments to say the same thing about pets.

Why will we -- I mean they -- not have domesticated animals as pets?

Drinking water from single-use plastic bottles. Using plastic containers of most any sort to store things we eat or drink. Having desk jobs that require physical presence in a building owned and designated by an employer.

"Not teaching basic psychology and emotional regulation in school." 😲

or in KK-esque:

"Leaving emotional literacy out of the core curriculum."

That is a good one.

Another two worth including, in my opinion:

"Designing systems that profit from human weakness."

"Treating mental health as an individual problem instead of a systemic one."

"Eating dead animals with excitement."

Yes, I prefer eating my dead animals while they are alive, still warm and bleeding. YUM!

Related to eating dead animals, but factory farming is beyond disgusting.

I, for one, hope you are right about Daylight Saving Time and soon.

Yes! The world will be better off if a lot of these things become cringe!

"Accepting bombs in war as OK."

----

Agreed. A laser sweep that immediately destroys everything in its path, like in SF stories/movies, sounds a lot better!

"Volunteering to be a soldier wielding a gun."

----

All soldiers will be AI controlled or enabled in the future. Humans are not able to fight against AI technology.
